Catch Up

Well since it has been...ummm since Kaylin was about 4 months since I last posted figured it was time to start blogging again.

Well Kaylin is now 18 months (19 months on the 22nd) and the light of my life.  Granted there are days where she gets on my nerves or we butt heads but I still love her.  She is FINALLY on the growth charts which is good since she has been in the 5th-10th percentile since birth.
Her vocabulary expands every day which is amazing.  She learns at least 2-3 new words a day.
She knows where her eyes, ears, nose, head, toes, mouth, hair, belly button, and her boobies are lol.
She also goes to The Little Gym once a week as well...where she learns different skills and socialization skills with other kids as well.  She starts back up again in August since we are skipping the Summer semester to go to the water park.
I still can't believe how fast she has grown and how much she has learned....it is honestly INSANE.

John has been working crazy shift work hours as usual on top of doing a college class so he can get his bachelors degree.  He will be getting out of the Navy come the end of next year so beginning of next year he gets to start looking for a civilian job.

The dogs are doing good...same ole same old with them nothing new an exciting with them.

And as for me....just have been a stay at home mom with Kaylin making things on the home front are running smoothly.  Trying to loose weight so working out has been also added into my never ending list of things to do  everyday.  So far I am down 8lbs so only a LOT more to go lol....but I will eventually get to my goal weight.  And it isn't even baby weight I am trying to loose its my MARRIAGE weight that I gained the first year I was married.

And that is what is going on in my life as a whole right now.
Can't wait till my parents get here on Sunday...I haven't seen them since Christmas!

Crib Time

It is going to be a long few nights for me. We are going to start putting Kaylin in her crib starting tomorrow night. She just doesn't have enough room in her co-sleeper anymore and I feel bad.

I know I won't be sleeping well for the first few night since she isn't sleeping right next to me. It is so sad but she sleeps through the night now so it shouldn't be to bad. She goes to bed at either 10 or 11 and gets up at 5 or 6 to eat.

They just grow up to fast it is so sad...I want her to stay little forever!! But we are going to try having another one starting at the beginning of 2010. If the doctors say its ok for me to do it or we will try at the end of 2010 if that's the case.

Hanging out on the plane, going home to see Daddy!

All in all I had a great visit as usual....wish I could have stayed longer. I think it is harder to leave home now because of Kaylin since my family doesn't get to see her a lot. Heck it was the first time for all my family but my parents and sister to even meet her! One of these days I will be back in IL or close to IL so there isn't such a HUGE gap on when I get to go home.

Kaylin was a fabulous baby on the plane, at least I know she can travel now with no problems. Granted she is little so it was really easy, I know as she gets older it will be a lot harder. I think the most stressful was getting through security because of how much stuff you have. But I made it through fine at both airports...and surprisingly O'Hare was DEAD! There was no body at that airport Tuesday afternoon...I was surprised totally but it made things a lot easier.

I miss everyone already...it is taking me a few days to get back to myself. This always happens when I go home I am a wreck for a few days. My family is a close family so me going home and leaving sucks big time. Of course Kaylin is being a pain she wasn't in IL but of course she has to go back to terror Kaylin. Oh well I will live this to shall pass as my Mom likes to say to me.

*Sigh* I guess that is all I have to report tonight. I am going to get better about putting stuff up here I know I have been slacking.

One more thing my baby is going to be 3 months tomorrow....she is growing to fast!!
